Play & Learn

Play & Learn is an 8-week series of free pre-literacy classes. It is offered to parents/caregivers and their children (ages 3 months to 35 months and 3-5 years old) who live in Buncombe County and are not in licensed childcare. Each class lasts 45 minutes. We have a variety of activities that increase children's pre-literacy skills and parents receive information and resources to support their children's learning at home. Play & Learn is supported by Buncombe Partnership for Children, Asheville Primary School and Preschool, Parent U and Eblen Short Stop Stores.
