    Asheville City Schools operates as a Magnet School system.  For more information about the

    APPLICATION PROCEDURES

     

     Application (In-District)

    If you reside in the Asheville City Schools district, please submit the following documents:

    1.  Completed Magnet School Application   (Spanish)
    2.  Copy of student’s birth certificate
    3.  Copy of parent’s ID
    4.  Two proofs of residence (one must be a utility bill (power, water, gas) and the other must be a lease/mortgage or statement/deed/etc.

     

    Discretionary Application (Out of District)

    If you reside outside the Asheville City Schools district, please submit all documentation listed above (for In-District), as well as the following to complete your application:

    1.   Completed Discretionary Admission Application

     

    Reassignment/Transfer Request (In/Out District)

    If your child is currently enrolled in the Asheville City Schools district and you wish to request transfer/reassignment to another school, please submit the following document: 

    1.   Complete Student Transfer Request Form
