Weekly News 3/31/14-4/4/14
Posted by A. Garner on 3/31/2014 3:02:10 PMMath- We will continue working on composing numbers with 2 and 3 addends, working on combinations to equal 10 and focus on key words within story problems to help us decide whether to use addition or subtraction. Finding the missing addend (key words for addition: in all, all together subtraction: how many are left, left over)
Science- We will start our Rocks and Minerals Unit, with a walking field trip to the Colburn Earth Science Museum on Wednesday.
Writing- We will be writing reviews, opinions and persuasive pieces. Some might make ‘commercial’ piece to try to persuade others to do something (play this video game, go to this restaurant, see this movie)! I can’t wait to see what they come up with!
