CTE Students Earn 2nd Place at National TSA Conference
Congratulations most certainly go to our Asheville High School & School of Inquiry and Life Sciences at Asheville CTE Engineering students! The team of Abby Russ, Alex Abrams, Eli Windsor, Hudson Morris, Julian Camp and Travis Brown have taken second place in the country for their Board Game Design at the National Technology Student Association annual conference.
TSA is dedicated to personal development, leadership and exposing students to career opportunities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Integrating these STEM concepts, our high schoolers developed, built, and packaged a board game. According to TSA regulations, its subject could be of their choosing; however, the game had to be “interesting, exciting, visually appealing, and intellectually challenging.”
The 2019 National TSA Conference, “Model the Way,” was held at National Harbor near Washington, D.C. on June 28th - July 2nd.
